Ok, I have a confession to make. It is hard to say this but I have to do this.
I don't believe in hell. At least not in the traditional sense. Many of my christian friends are going to get upset.Probably because they harbour resentment towards some people who they would love to see to go to hell. Actually I believe that these people who are so unforgiving are going to hell themselves! Actually they are living in their hell of bitterness right now. Many unfortunate people including kids are already living a life of hell through no fault of theirs.
I refuse to believe that God who is just and merciful is going to send my friends who all are mostly good people to a blazing lake of fire to be tormented by creepy creatures and all kinds of obscene things unimaginable things for all eternity. Ok, these people might have told a few lies been a bit selfish entertained lustful thoughts in their minds. But do they deserve hell for that?
Even earthly judges are fairer.
What's more certain than hell is death. I will hold on to the promise of eternal life in paradise through Jesus but to hell with hell.
Do you believe in hell?
Do you really think good ppl who may be bit stubborn, harbour little jealousy, entertain lustful thoughts are going to burn and be tortured in hell forever? Is that fair?
